About the Program

The UN Women invites applications for its Gender Equality and Voluntarism Program to help individuals understand the importance of gender as a crosscutting issue in volunteerism, aligned with the 2030 Development Agenda and particularly SDG 5: Gender Equality.

Objectives

This program, developed in collaboration with the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) agency, covers:

• ✅ Identifying gender gaps and stereotypes related to volunteerism
• ✅ Using tools, strategies, and resources to promote equal participation of women and men
• ✅ Exploring opportunities for volunteerism to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment
