Program Overview

• One-year leadership program (January – December 2026).
• Designed for young leaders across the Indo-Pacific region.
• Focus on Canada’s engagement with Asia.
• Networking with Canadian policymakers, business leaders, academics, and diplomats.
• Hands-on involvement in policy research and public outreach activities.

Learning Tour in Canada

• One-week visit to Canada (May or June 2026).
• Airfare, hotel, daily allowance and incidental costs covered.
• Participants arrange visas, insurance and personal expenses.
• Official invitation and support letter may be provided if needed.

Who Can Apply?

• Age limit: 39 years or younger.
• Citizens or permanent residents of Indo-Pacific countries.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• At least five years professional experience.
• Fields: Government, business, research, media, NGOs, academia.
• Strong interest in geopolitics, diplomacy, economics, or environment.

Participant Expectations

• Attend monthly virtual briefings.
• Participate fully in the Canada study tour.
• Engage respectfully with peers and speakers.
• Remain active in alumni programs.
