💡 SSRC Just Tech Fellowship Programme

The SSRC Just Tech Fellowship supports researchers, practitioners, and creatives working on critical issues at the intersection of technology and society through a fully funded, year-long program.

This fellowship encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, public engagement, and policy-relevant work, focusing on how emerging technologies shape society and influence social outcomes.

The program runs from January to December 2027 and includes mentorship, cohort-based learning, virtual sessions, and in-person engagements while fellows advance their innovative projects.

Fellows receive approximately $60,000 funding along with up to $5,000 additional support for collaborative projects developed with other fellows.

Applicants from around the world are eligible; however, selected fellows must reside in the United States during the program period. The fellowship does not provide visa sponsorship.

There are no strict academic degree requirements. Selection is based on originality, impact, feasibility of the proposed project, and the applicant’s ability to contribute to public and policy discussions on technology and society.
