In 2025, Pakistan is grappling with catastrophic floods triggered by relentless monsoon rains. Over 700 lives have been lost, and thousands have been displaced across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan. In South Punjab, the Chenab, Ravi, and Sutlej rivers have overflowed, submerging over 1,400 villages, destroying homes, crops, and livestock, and leaving families without food or shelter. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) warns of continued rainfall, threatening further devastation in vulnerable areas like Bait Bukhtiari Uch Sharif and Zahirpir Liaqatpur.
These communities need urgent help to survive and rebuild.
Our Ration with Dignity Program
Asra for Humanity Network is launching its Ration with Dignity Program to provide immediate relief to flood-affected families in South Punjab. We are establishing two relief camps to deliver essential aid:
- Bait Bukhtiari Uch Sharif: Providing ration bags to support families in need.
- Zahirpir Liaqatpur: Led by Abdul Ghafar, ensuring dignified aid distribution.
Each camp will distribute household ration bags worth Rs. 3,000, containing essentials like rice, flour, lentils, and oil to 100 families, empowering them to rebuild with hope and dignity.
